Summary

From Thursday, February 28th, till Wednesday, March 6th, Lviv will host the  VOX ELECTRONICA Festival of Electroacoustic Music. The goal of the festival is to reveal and depict a huge potential of a new concept of experimental academic electroacoustic music and create an international platform as unique area for artists’ of different countries (compositors, performers and authors of visual art) experience exchange and creative experiment lab.

12 p.m. – Michal Pawelek’s lecture about the possibility of using SuperCollider in live electroacoustic works.
7 p.m. - Concert. Compositions by Jon Marius Aareskjold (Trip De Ski), Gregor A. Meyrhofer (Etude for piano and ring modulator), Cinar Timur (in axe, pen sewed “e”), and Serhiy Zelensky.

Saturday, March 2nd

Mykola Lysenko Lviv State Academy of Music (5, Nyzhankivs’koho Street)

12 p.m – Michal Pawelek’s lecture “The issue of the use and calibration of sensors in the live electronic”.

3 p.m. - Workshop led by Michal Pawelek.

7 p.m. - Concert. Compositions by Zenon Bachynsky, Yuriy Bulka, Ilona Eltek, Myroslav Trofymyuk.

8 p.m. – Concert by Lviv laptop orchestra.

Sunday, March 3rd

Porokhova Vezha
