From Thursday, February 28th till Thursday, March 28th, visit the Salo Modern Art Museum to check out March Cats by Vasya Lozhkin, a Russian artist and blogger. Lozhkin's paintings can be warm and witty, or crazy and cruel - he portrays parallel world – the world of psychosis, madness, extreme forms of mental states, visions and hallucinations. Admission is free.

From Tuesday, March 19th till Sunday, April 7th, The Green Sofa Gallery will host "Organic Structures. Continuation" by Volodymyr Chornobay. The artist aims to combine two realities – subjective and abstract and find the balance between them.

From Friday, March 22nd till Friday, April 12th, the Lemish Gallery will host Young Artists of Ukraine. The exhibit features the works by a range of young artists, the members of Slava Frolova-Group project. You will find the paintings by Anna Sayenko (Kharkiv), Bohdan Kukhars'kyi (Lviv), Vadym Horans'kyi (Kyiv), Mykhailo Tymchuk (Ivano-Frankivs'k) and others. No admission fee.

From Friday, March 22nd till Sunday, April 7th, L’UFT Pub will host "Meow-Meow" Girls by Vitaliy Dmytruk. The exhibit is devoted to canonization of woman's image. Vitaliy Dmytruk works in an experimental style that combines innocence, sexuality, jazz and comical aesthetics. The artist rethinks ordinary images and depicts them "from the other side".

From Wednesday, March 27th till Sunday, March 31st check out the eleventh annual Lviv Fashion Week. More than 40 designers from Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Slovenia and Belarus will present their fall/winter 2013 collections. The main fashion shows will take place at the Shuvar-Expo Exhibition Center about 25 minutes outside Lviv's city center. Other events will include Celebrating the 15th anniversary of ROKSOLANA BOGUTSKA brand at the Mirotel Spa & Resort outside Lviv in Truskavets, and invitation-only parties at Lviv nightclubs.

From March 28 till April 30, 2013 come see the celebrated works of “Ukraine’s Michelangelo,” Johann Pinzel at “Maestro Pinzel - Legend and Reality” at the Lviv Art Gallery.

On Thursday, March 28th, at 6 p.m. treat yourself to Gaetano Donizetti's opera "The Elixir of Love" at the Lviv Opera House. For tickets, visit the Opera House box office or call ahead to reserve.

On Thursday, March 28th, at 7 p.m. visit the Lviv Philharmonic to enjoy a concert by Le Balcon, a French chamber orchestra dedicated to the interpretation of music through the amplification of acoustic instruments. For tickets, visit the Philharmonic’s box-office.

On Thursday, March 28th, at 8 p.m. head upstairs to Kvartyra 35 (Dzyga) to experience The Top of the Depths Project (Odessa) featuring their own jazz work. Call ahead to reserve a table.
