Golden Treasures of Lost Civilizations is a year-long exhibit at Potocki Palace. The exhibit, which runs until December 30, 2012, features relics from the Bronze Age to the Kievan Rus' period. The collection includes everyday household items, jewelry, tools and weapons of gold, silver, nonferrous metals, bone and glass from the Northern Black Sea and Mediterranean regions.

From May 18th to August 26th Lviv's National Museum will host "Normandy in Painting." The exhibition features 19th and 20th works by French Impressionists including Renoir, Monet, Gericault, Courbet and Corot. The paintings depict episodes from the artists lives in Normandy with an emphasis on nature, the seaside and rural life.

"The Trypillian Code" will have a long run at the Potocki Palace from June 2nd till December 31st 2012. The exhibit includes over 400 artifacts that date from from 4500-3000 B.C. from the Trypillian culture, one of the largest Neolithic settlements, which stretched from the Carpathians to the Dnieper and Dnister River regions and encompassed parts of modern-day Romania, Moldova and Ukraine.

From June 8th, 2012 till February 11th, 2013, the Center of Urban History of East Central Europe will host "Sport and the City: People. Society. Ideology." The exhibit traces the history of sports in Lviv over the past 150 years, from the beginnings of sports in Europe and particularly in Lviv, including the relationship between sports and nationalism, sports and government, sports and commerce, and sports on a global level. Admission is free.

During the EURO 2012 matches head over to Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Culture Park (called "Park Kultury" by locals) to “LeoFan” - a free fan-zone where you can watch all the games on huge screens and have a lot of fun. LeoFan will feature a kids' fan-zone, family zone and VIP-zone with free WiFi access.

On June 15th-17th Lviv will host over 200 knights from Ukraine and neighboring countries. The courtyard of Potocki Palace will be transformed into a medieval tournament ground where knights will clash in acts of chivalry and bravery. Legend of Lviv is the perfect occasion for those who enjoy medieval fairs and tournaments.

Lviv's Beer Festival celebrates the city’s nearly three centuries-old tradition of beer making with beer tastings, a fair, contests and live music. This year Lviv's Beer Festival will take place at the LeoFan Territory of Fun, a EURO 2012 fan zone. Admission is free.

During day of each EURO 2012 match in Lviv, the city's hippodrome will host the Fun Fest with live music and DJ sessions. On June 17th popular Ukrainian bands С.К.А.Й. and TNMK will perform together followed by top DJs spinning till 4 a.m. Lviv's Hippodrome is about 7 km from downtown and 600 meters from Arena Lviv stadium. Admission is about 2.5 EURO.

On Sunday, June 17th at 7 p.m. haunt Robert Doms Beer House to hear hard and melodic rock from Ukrainian band Corvus.Robert Doms sits just outside Lviv's city center next to the Lvivske Beer factory and the Brewing Museum. To find the pub, look for its medieval gates on a red fence on Kleparivs’ka Street. Free admission.
