The Lviv Hippodrome is one of the premier horse track facilities in Ukraine and all of the former Soviet Union. The hippodrome’s grounds are often a venue for live music events. The Lviv Hippodrome and the Viktoria Equestrian Club are both located about a 20-minute from Lviv’s city center, not far from the King Cross Leopolis Shopping Center.

MI100 (known by locals as Misto) is a multipurpose entertainment center with a bowling alley and Lviv’s largest strip bar “The Plush Rhino.” The complex is located outside Lviv’s center and also includes a restaurant with a disco and live music, a karaoke lounge, sport pub, billiards hall and a poker club. Arena Lviv is a brand-new football stadium that will be the official venue for Euro 2012 Championship games in Lviv.

Ivan Franko Park used to be called Park Kostyushka and many Lvivites still call it by its former name. The park covers an area of 15 hectares and is regarded as Ukraine’s oldest city park, dating back to the 16th century. Ivan Franko Park enjoys nice location in Lviv’s center on Universytetska Street, in front of Ivan Franko National University. It’s easy walking distance from Prospect Svobody and most downtown tourist sights.

Stryiskyi Park is one of Lviv’s oldest and most beloved parks. It was initially founded as the site of the Agricultural Exhibition Fairground back in 1887. The park covers 58 hectares and features over 200 species of trees and plants, several beautiful buildings, a lovely swan pond and countless walking trails. Stryiskyi Park is located outside Lviv’s center on Stryis’ka Street.
