Beer Garden is a beer-themed café and bar for those who don’t mind a short walk outside the center.
Where?
Beer Garden is a 10-minute walk from Prospect Svobody. To find the bar you should stay on the right side of the street while walking along Ivana Franka street and then cross the road close to the Y-intersection of Ivana Franka and Zelena Streets.
Atmosphere
Beer Garden’s small non-smoking inner dining room expands out to covered summer loggia, where smoking is allowed. The bar also features a separate private room with TV screens, a bonus for sport fans.
Menu
The bar menu offers about 20 different beers including Guinness, Kilkenny, Desperados, Zipfer and Czech Jezek, as well as popular local brews. You’ll find lots of beer snacks on the menu (try one of its juliennes) and salads, along with pork, fish and poultry dishes. For something a bit different, try the salmon with pomegranate sauce.
Keep in mind
Beer Garden is more of a hangout for locals and does not accept credit cards, so make sure you have enough cash.
